Welcome to the first of what will no doubt be many blogs! I’ll endeavour to provide frequent updates about the project to let everyone know how things are tracking. The first and most obvious update I’d like to mention is this site!

It’s taken a little while to get a site organised for this project. We’ve had to register domain names and do a bit of legwork, but it is finally done. A big thank you to Simon Bayliss for offering his professional services, building the site and managing online content! I would also like to give a big thank you to Anthony Warry for offering his time to do photos for the site.

Well, it’s been almost a month since I started this project and I am very happy to report that I am on target to finish by June 11. It is a wonderful feeling being able to open up the vault (so to speak) and explore some of these songs of mine. Many of them have been written directly from life experiences, and in a way, recording them means revisiting these experiences, which has been a joyous experience thus far.

I have also been doing quite a bit of work outside the studio. This involves getting the framework together for the charity side of things. There is a lot to do and it’s keeping me very busy, but I love every minute of it!
